Blueberry Street
Motion Pictures is an independent film and television production
company with a solid track record of production of short form music
videos, documentaries, variety shows and corporate videos. The company
is headed by renowned South Asian writer/director/producer R. Paul
Dhillon, who holds a degree in Communications and Film from Simon
Fraser University.
The Vancouver-based company is engaged in television production
and production of independent feature films. We recently produced
PLANET AAJ, an exciting South Asian variety show for Baton Broadcasting
Corporation's Vancouver-based television station BC-CTV and co-produced
an hour long documentary THE SAINT SOLDIER, also for BC-CTV.
The company is currently in production on a documentary titled THE BHANGRA GENERATION for Rogers Media owned OMNI1 station in Toronto. It has just completed it’s debut feature film SWEET AMERIKA for the world market. The film will be out in late 2006. The company has several more projects in development, including Spice Land, a gangster film set in Vancouver’s South Asian community, and CAPSICUM BABY, a romantic comedy.
