We are currently raising
financing for a number of projects, including financing for Blueberry
Street Motion Pictures debut feature SWEET AMERIKA, a post 9/11 story
of a Sikh American who is terrorized after he is mistaken for a Muslim.
The film will be a seminal work on the American immigrant experience
following the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
The film is budgeted at a very modest $350,000 US. We're seeking investments
in the sum of $5000 to $25000 per individual or company, which will
give the investor a direct stake in the film. The investment in the
film could be through direct buying of shares in MMM FILM FINANCE
INTERNATIONAL or investment as shareholder's loans, which have an
added tax advantage as they are not taxed when the loans are returned.
Only the profits from the investment are taxed. Investors will be
rewarded through either a percentage of the returns from the film
or interest paid on the loans. The investors can choose to take an
interest return on their investment at 10 - 12 percent in which case
they will not get any portion of the profits.
There are many advantages to investing in the film business, including
tax benefits and very handsome returns.
We are trying a unique marketing strategy for SWEET AMERIKA in that
there will be two versions of the film, a dubbed version for the Indian
market and a second completely English version for the world market.
With such a small budget and a number of markets for the film including
a theatrical run, video rights and television rights sales - the risk
to investors is minimal while return could be anywhere from excellent
to great.
Serious investors can contact producer R. Paul Dhillon. All investment
transactions will be done through our company's law firm. Investors
are welcome to read a detailed script for the film. |
